Code of Meeting Practice

We asked about what Council Meetings are held and livestreaming Public Forum and Public Access.

In 2022 we surveyed community members about participation in Council meetings.

• The online survey was open from Wednesday 16 March to Thursday 14 April 2022.
• We asked about when meetings are held, and about livestreaming Public Forum and Public Access.
• We used the feedback from the survey to help prepare a new draft Code of Meeting Practice, the document that guides how Council’s meetings are run.
• We placed a draft Code of Meeting Practice on public exhibition for further community feedback from 11 May to 22 June 2022.
• The updated Code of Meeting Practice was adopted at the Extraordinary Council Meeting on Monday 5 September 2022.
