Community Strategic Plan 2022-2042

We asked community members to share what's important to them now and in the future.

With each new Council term, Eurobodalla’s long term community plan must be reviewed to ensure it still accurately captures the community’s hopes and aspirations for the future of Eurobodalla.

So, in late 2021, we asked what’s important to you, what are your hopes and dreams for Eurobodalla, and whether the existing community vision still rang true.

  • In October 2021, Eurobodallans used tools on this website to share what was important to them, what they like best about our shire and what they would like to see improved.
  • From November 2021, we used the feedback - along with what we’d been told previously when working on other community plans and projects - to help prepare a draft Community Strategic Plan.
  • In February and March 2022, we publicly exhibited a draft plan - which incorporated the community's feedback - for further public comment.
  • The final Community Strategic Plan - Our Eurobodalla 2042 - was adopted at the ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 12 April 2022.

The online tools we used to gather feedback and ideas are now closed, but you can view the ideas put forward by community members:

  • Our vision: digital vision boards filled with community members' ideas and values.
  • Children and youth: a creative exercise for young people to imagine Eurobodalla in the future.
  • Workshop in a box: for groups, families, or colleagues to prepare a collective submission together.
